I very rarely do stuff like this, but this time it's kind of an emergency.

A good friend of mine known as Sara, or more appropriately, The Earwig Queen is in a really bad jam right now. Very long story short, she's living in Canada with her husband Dave, but needs funds in order to afford an immigration lawyer ($5000 which they just don't have), or else she could be deported back to the US and be separated from Dave. They're in a really tight spot financially, so I'm pimping her PayPal account thing here.

I know most the people reading this aren't swimming in cash any more than I am, but I had to do something. I don't have any sappy words, incentive or anything like that to pull people's heartstrings into getting them donations, but whether you're able/willing to toss some money to a complete stranger, or able to simply link to this post from your own journal, I know they'd be beyond thankful for it.

This journal will be mostly friends-only, but comment here if you'd like to be added.

Those are the starting prices. There's a couple variables, mainly in terms of how many characters or the amount of detail is requested in the image. Obviously a finished image with one character in it and minimal background will stay at $65, wheras multiple characters, bigger background, or more detail will add more to the cost.
